Ms. Chalice was out playing with her friends, Cuphead and Mugman one day. They were having fun in the forest, when suddenly, an evil enchantress showed up. The enchantress was a black cat who was once a mere witch. In order to fulfill her greatest desire, she used dark magic that corrupted her maiden's heart. Now she needed the hearts of six other maidens to complete her goal, ones that represent the seven deadly sins. So she kidnapped Cuphead and Mugman to lure Ms. Chalice after her, plotting to use this to make her angry, and thus make her the heart of wrath as she battles her way through the other corrupted maiden's to get to her.
